Surgery:
We perform a variety of eye surgeries either in the convenience of our office or next door in a state-of-the art ambulatory surgery center. Dr. Richmond and / or Dr. Dozier perform small incision, high technology cataract surgery with intraocular lens implantation, laser surgery for glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and for secondary membranes that occur on occasion after cataract surgery. Also various eyelid procedures, punctal plugs for dry eyes, and botox injections are available.

Cataract Surgery:
Dr. Richmond has been performing cataract surgeries for 30 years with traditional intraocular lens implants.Within the last few years he has started using multifocal intraocular lens implants and toric lens implants which allow for even more freedom from glasses. Frank Adkins, our optician, recently joined the East Ridge Eye Center in October of 2007 and is already building a faithful following of satisfied customers.
